I found this article over at the awesome Gizmodo blog refered by my friend (the man they simply call Nomark) and I had to check it out.

Apparently the device is called ‘The Spyder III’ and is available for only $200 over at wickedlaser.com. $200!!!! WTF! That has to mean that it won’t survive long if you have to fight any Sith Lords or disarm (literally) some kind of weird alien yeti.

But for $200 it can’t be all that effective, otherwise there’ll be handless geeks crying because they no longer play Xbox after loser a saber battle with some kind of uber geek who’s studied the art of the Jedi, just waiting for this day to come!

That said, I wonder what the delivery regulations for this thing are? If I order one online and have it delivered via mail is that classed as weapon smuggling?
