One big bonus for the Riddler would be that he is an intellectual — something that hasn’t necessarily been present in Nolan’s Batman films. We’ve never seen “The Detective” only the brawler, so for someone to come out and really challenge Wayne’s intellect would be pretty cool.

The Riddler would probably be cool if modeled after Azzarello’s Joker version of The Riddler.

I’m still a big supporter of Black Mask being the main villain, with perhaps a secondary villain (Riddler?). I just think the dynamic of Black Mask fits in with the way the trilogy would unfold — the constant play on duality and masks, and it would just work on many levels. Having Sionis go after Wayne instead of Batman would be great, and something different.

But — in Nolan I trust. Whatever it is, I’ll no doubt enjoy it.
