GeekZenith’s Unmissable 3
Naturally, out of this vast array of formible TV, at GeekZenith we have 3 shows which we consider unmissable1.
1. Chuck
Chuck is GeekZenith’s official favourite show, so it was somewhat inevitable it’d come straight in at number 1. I felt that the show tailed off show mid-season 3, yet picked up in the final few episodes and kept that momentum going in season 4. It seems the creators have majically breathed life into the series again and it seems to me it’s just about picking up steam. I can’t wait for the next episode.
2. Stargate Universe
Before this show first aired, I had my doubts. Another Stargate franchise? Is there any point? But I gave it a try anyhow and I’m so glad I did and I now consider this to be the best series in the franchise. The show pulls no punches and shows a certain grit that SG1 and Atlantis never matched. It’s more than just a show about monstrous aliens and crazy adventures, it’s a show about survival, people and desperation.
Last week, we saw the coup fail, but members of the Lucian Alliance still remain aboard the ship with nowhere else to go. It’s going to be very interesting indeed to see how the two factions interact and how they’ll cope together, stranded so far away from home. It’s also an injection of fresh blood and new characters that excites me as I was concerned the same character interactions from season 1 would get a little stale. Hopefully current events will spice things up a little.
3. Sons of Anarchy
This show just doesn’t get enough credit or applause. It goes under the radar for a lot of people, despite the sheer consistency in quality. This show hasn’t had a single lull in the storyline in two and a bit seasons and it just seems to get better and better over time.
Last week, one of the split factions in the IRA let Gemma know precisely where Able was being kept, but then she promptly collapsed in a heap. Will she get time to tell the Sons where the baby is before she gets arrested? Will the Son’s get Able before they’re hauled back to the klink? Can’t wait to find out!
Well, those are GeekZenith’s favourite shows currently running and we’ve also shared the shows were mostly looking forward to seeing this week…what’re you watching???

No Family Guy? Or Shit My Dad Says?
Yeah, I love Son’s Anarchy too! Great TV series and it’s only getting better!
Family Guy isn’t as consistently funny anymore and Shit My Dad Says just isn’t quite hitting it for me…
