New Ricky Gervais show featuring both Warwick Davis and Karl Pilkingon in development?

Ricky Gervais is a busy man. With both writing, producing, directing and editing An Idiot Abroad Season 2 (the premiere of which is set to air on 23rd September) , as well as his new HBO/BBC2 seven episode comedy show Life’s Too Short (only he’s starring it that one too) his plate is well and truly full.

Or so you’d think.

With the announcement in July that Gervais will be working with Dexter showrunner Clyde Phillips the Office creator doesn’t like to be idle. This was seemingly reiterated again this week on his blog when he announced another concept for a TV series.

I have come up with an idea for a show featuring Karl and Warwick by the way. Broadcasters have already said yes. Warwick has said yes. Karl has gone from “no it’s mental” to laughing about it and agreeing to do a non-broadcast pilot.

Yes, you read that right. Gervais has come up with a show concept which will combine the awesomeness of Warwick Davis and the gormlessness of Karl Pilkington for a new show – which the broadcasters have already green lit.

Can you say FUCK YES!? I can and will. FUCK YES!
