First TV Shot for Amazing Spider-Man Promises Upcoming 4 Minute Preview & A Small Glimpse of the Lizard! Check it out!

That’s right, the Amazing Spider-Man marketing team are stepping up their game and getting the upcoming reboot in the full swing of things (terrible pun intended – please don’t hate me in the face) with a first TV teaser, promising a full 4 minute preview on the 14th May – also, it has a little glimpse of the Lizard! Can you say awesomoeo? Check it out!

The Amazing Spider-Man reboot has been somewhat lost in the comic book movie shuffle as of late with the Avengers smashing all kinds of Box Office records (again, sorry for the slightly more obscure but still entirely terrible pun there) and The Dark Knight Rises getting teased to buggery, but the more I see from the movie, the more I’m getting excited about it.

All the trailers we’ve seen thusfar have painted the movie in a different, and slightly darker, light than the previous movies and I think from what I can see so far they look much better. I think these new Spider-Man movies (and the sequel has been greenlit and has production dates set for it) will eclipse the original Sam Raimi movies. That’s something of a bold statement, especially given the limited footage we’ve seen so far, but I REALLY don’t think I’m wrong on this one – but what do I know?
