Robocop Reboot Images and Viral Video’s hit the web!

That’s right, it seems the Robocop reboot viral campaign has begun and we have images and video to prove it! Check it out!

It started with Omnicorp.com – a moch website based on the fictional ruthless organisation in the Robocop universe and registered to Sony Pictures (an Whois registration look up confirmed as much). It seems Sony are stepping up their efforts in time for ComicCon and the results are awesometastic.

It’s quite a good but of viral and it seems that movie studio’s are learning at least a little from The Dark Knight Rises viral success. Granted, this isn’t nearly as extensive as that but still it’s a cool bit of info to share – and I get the distinct impression that in the age of reboot’s, it’ll need all the help it can get.

For those of you who haven’t heard a thing about this movie – it’ll be hitting the cinema’s 9th August 2013, will star The Killing’s Joel Kinnaman and will be directed by The Elite Squad’s Jose Padilha.
