Seeing is Believing
At first, I couldn’t believe my eyes. I blinked. And again. But it was real. I thought my fanboy geekiness had taken over my imagination and I was hallucinating. I was definitely seeing it. My heart dropped. The sheer magnitude of it astounded me. How the hell are Marvel going to pull this off? I thought. My mind was lost to me. I sat in the cinema for the longest time afterwards wondering what the hell to make of it.
Thanos.
One of the most iconic Marvel supervillains of all time, peaking in one of the most iconic Marvl storylines of all time: The Infinity Gauntlet.
I have no idea how the hell they’re going to pull this off, I can’t even begin to comprehend it. I know that the 2014 movie Marvel have scheduled in, The Guardians of the Galaxy (as I reported last month) will have a lot to do with it, but how? At this point I don’t care. All’s I know is, Marvel are getting my money. Every Marvel movie leading up to the Avengers sequel I will be watching their movies at least once. A genius marketing tactic which I can’t hope to resist. Well done, Marvel. Well done indeed.
Anyways, here’s the clip.
If you haven’t seen it before, prepare yourself for awesomeness. If you have, bask yourselves once more in the awesomeness. As a side note, Buffy/Angel’s own Alexis Denisof provides the voice of the alien “The Other” in the clip (and indeed the movie).
