Ben Affleck in Talks to Direct Justice League

That’s right, it seems the one time Daredevil star is being lined up to direct the impending Justice League movie! Oh dear…

Yesterday, I shared with you allthe fantastical news that Joss Whedon has been officially signed up not only to write and direct the Avengers sequel, but to develop a Marvel TV show for ABC and now Warner Bros are attempting to trump that by trying to sign up…um…Ben Affleck to direct the Justice League movie??? Wait. That can’t be right, can it?

Don’t get me wrong, I’m not a Ben Affleck hater. I thought The Town and Gone Baby Gone were good movies. But the Justice League movie? Seriously?

The Justice League movie has undergone some tough times as it is, undergoing many rewrites and being shelved a number of times, but apparently the movie is now on track and entering serious talks with a director can only mean Warner Bross are looking to progress with the movie.

How much a progression Affleck’s association with the movie is, I’ll leave to the critics, but I can safely say after the disaster of Daredevil my follow comic books fans cannot be even a little bit happy with this decision.
