AMC Pretty Much Confirms The Walking Dead Fourth Season!

That’s right – AMC confirms a fourth season of their hit show The Walking Dead! Check it out!

Despite the criticism some of the second season, The Walking Dead still proves to be something of a rating grabber for AMC. With the third season looming and excitement following the dramatic season two finale, The Walking Dead is really picking up momentum. It can be of no surprise then that AMC plans to renew the series for a fourth season.

Usually, the confirmation comes from the network itself and the last time they confirmed the renewal early, it was mostly due to the amazing opening ratings the show receives. Will the show get those kind of ratings at the beginning of seaosn 3? It’s too early to tell, but it does seem the network HAS renewed the show. However, they’ve done so in a rather casual way. Too casual.

In a competition on The Walking Dead blog for the American Red Cross blood drive, AMC say competitors “also might win you a 3-day, 2-night trip to the Season 4 production of The Walking Dead in 2013″.
