Artist Recreates Ant-Man Test Footage

That’s right – and it’s sooo cool! Check it out!

What’s this all about?

Edgar Wright has been working on a live action Ant-Man movie for quite some – since 2005 in fact – and was so hyped about the project even produced test reel footage off his own back to produce at this years Comic-Con.

It has been speculated that Wright’s intention for this was to try and force Marvel’s hand and give his Ant-Man project the second then undetermined 2014 movie slot which has since gone to The Guardians of the Galaxy (which was also announced at Comic-Con – check out our Guardians of the Galaxy info hub right here for more information on that project). The Guardians of the Galaxy movie getting the slot made sense in terms of the underlying Marvel Movie Universe storyline and the Thanos angle, but Wright’s Ant-Man project wasn’t exactly dead in the water.

Back in July, I reported that the Ant-Man project had indeed been bundled in on Marvel’s 2014 movie schedule so Wright must have impressed the Marvel execs to some degree, no?
