Morrison and Robertson's Happy to be made into Movie

That’s right! Grant Morrison’s and Darrick Robertson’s brand new comic book title is going to be made into movie! Check out the full details right here!

So What’s ‘Happy’?

To state the obvious, ‘Happy’ is a brand new comic book title co-created by Grant Morrison and the awesome Darrick Robertson (Transmetropolitan, The Boys).

‘Happy’ is heavily set in the criminal world, with the main hook being a generous helping of surreality which puts the title on another level.

The story follows an ex-cop turned revered Hitman who gets shot whilst getting the jump on his latest job. Whilst lying in his hospital bed he is confronted by a blue horse who claims to be the imaginary friend of a young girl in trouble. The horse tells Sax that he’s the only other person who can see him and that Sax must help the horse to save its friend.

The Details

The project is set to be developed by former Wu-Tang Clan veteran turned film maker RZA, who has just completed his first project “The Man with the Iron Fists” which is set to hit the cinema’s November 2nd.

The project is only in the initial stages at the moment, with Morrison and RZA deciding to develop the movie before a studio or financer are found. Joing Morrison and RZA on the project is producer Reginald Hudlin and we can look forward to more details being revealed at New York Comic-Con this week.
