Ghostbusters 3 Shooting Next Summer

Ghostbusters 3 to shoot next summer

That’s right! Ghostbusters 3 to shoot next summer – check it out!

On Again, Off Again

A third Ghostbusters is something that fans are DYING to see. It’ll be an instant hit in the box office no matter how the story plays out.

Yet the project has been stuck in pre-production hell for quite sometime to the point where nobody really knew just what the hell was going on with it.

Well apparently, the movie will start shooting next summer.

Under the Radar

The news flew in kind of under the radar yesterday, in a post by Deadline regarding Paramount being in talks with Tom Cruise about new sci-fi click “Our Name is Adam” and the studio taking action on the Ivan Reitman/Kevin Costner “Draft Day” project.

But Before You Get Your Hopes Up…

(…and please don’t shoot the messenger on this one) The article also breaks the news that there will be no Bill Murray. It’s been up in the air for some time whether he’s going to be involved in the project and whilst the article isn’t definitive proof, it’s not the best sign in the world he’ll make a shock decision to return.

What the Article Actually Says

Time to pull out the quote from the article so you can judge this for yourselves on it’s own merit:

“Paramount chose not to make it [Draft Day] in the small window that Reitman has before he is expected to finally get the long-gestating Ghostbusters reboot in front of the cameras next summer for Sony Pictures (sans Bill Murray)”

What Do You Think?

Will Ghosbusters 3 be made after all? Will it be successful without Bill Murray’s involvement? Let me know in the comments below – it’d be awesome to hear your opinion on the matter!
