I don’t really see it, unless he’s going to play a completely new character/assassin. Desmond is necessarily of Middle Eastern descent (in order to access the memories of Altair), so if they’re looking for someone to play Desmond, I’d really appreciate if they found someone who didn’t just look white, white, white.
