That’s right, Joseph Gordon-Levitt has signed up to a role in Frank Miller’s Sin City sequel, Sin City: A Dame to Kill For! Check it out!
News is ramping up for the Sin City sequel. It was just last month I reported that Dennis Haysbert would be the one to replace the late great Michael Clarke Duncan in the role of Manuteand before that I revealed the production start date and further cast updates.
Now Deadline is reporting that the last addition to the cast list is none other than Joseph Gordon-Levitt who has signed up play the role of Johnny – a part previously offered to Johnny Depp during the film’s years of production purgatory.
The character is core to the plot and will overlap in the storyline’s with returning characters portrayed by Mickey Rourke, Clive Owen, Bruce Willis and Rosario Dawson.
Deadline is also reporting that whatever connection Gordon-Levitt had with the Star-Lord character in Marvel’s upcoming Sci-Fi flick The Guardians of the Galaxy is also over, citing a busy workload and other commitments.
What do you think? Good actor to cast in the role? Are you looking forward to seeing Sin City: A Dame to Kill For? Let me know in the comments below – it’d be awesome to hear your opinions.
