World War Z Superbowl Trailer is here! Check it out!

A new trailer for the Brad Pitt lead World War z movie was supposed to be released during the pinnacle of television advertising: The Superbowl. But it seems the marketing department just couldn’t wait that long.

It has been released early and more importantly, I have it right here for you. Check it out.

Ups and Downs

Regular readers of the blog, will already know that I’ve discussed the ups and downs of the impending World War Z movie (in this post right here in fact).

But let me break it down for you:

• The movie synopsis shows a disturbing lack of story relating the source material (which was an awesome read btw).
• The movie has been pushed back and has undergone a number of rewrites. Never a good sign. Especially when you couple the fact that it’s not going to go form the source material.
• The Zombies are CGI’d poorly. We’ve been treated to real quality zombies in The Walking Dead and other mediums for so long, the first footage we had from the movie showed these CGI zombies and everyone muttered a collective what the fuuuuucccckkkkk??? (I know, I’ve changed my tune from the original post. I’ve had time to percolate the whole thing)

Will this new trailer change our minds?
