Marvel Logo

Boy, do I have an exclusive for you guys! Marvel Phase 2 Pre-Production artwork. No joke and totally legit – check out now before Marvel want it taken down!

Marvel Phase 2

Marvel Phase 2 is going to be huge.

Kicking off with Iron Man 3 and ending with Avengers 2, this phase will literally be taking us to the edge of the universe and back again.

What do we know about Phase 2? We know that judging by the end of Avengers Thanos will feature at some juncture. I doubt he’ll appear or even be involved in most of the Phase 2 movies, but perhaps he’ll be pulling the strings leading up to Avengers 2? Very likely.

As most will already know, Phase 2 will consist of:

  • Iron Man 3
  • Thor: The Dark World
  • Captain America: The Winter Soldier
  • The Guardians of Galaxy
  • Avengers 2

The Artwork

Now for the artwork – it’s so cool it hurts!

First up an awesome fighting pic between The Winter Soldier and Captain America from, quite obviously, Captain America: The Winter Soldier.

The next picture is something of mystery – perhaps an alien landscape? Most likely The Dark World from Thor: The Dark World. The imagery is beautiful.

*UPDATE* – my sources have since revealed that the remaining images below are all from Guardians of the Galaxy!

Next up are these entirely gorgeous air/space vessels. Earth made or from alien origin? It’s difficult to tell, but you can’t deny it looks entirely awesome.

The final picture comes from the movie I’m most looking forward to in Phase 2: The Guardians of the Galaxy. It depicts a dive bar somewhere in the universe where the member of The Guardians of the Galaxy no doubt feel right at home. Drax already looks a little grumpy.

What do you think?

Awesome, right? Will you be checking out Marvel Phase 2? Which movie in Phase 2 are you most looking forward to? Let me know in the comments below – it’ll be awesome to hear your opinion!

  1. I’m really pleased to see that they are trying to not only stick to the look of the source material, but to ensure that they all look like they exist within the one Universe.

Yeah, these movies should be awesome. I’m particularly looking forward to The Guardians of the Galaxy! What about you?

  3. MarvelDude says:

Anyone who thinks all the MCU are not canon with each others are just trolls.

  4. Djaysus says:

i think the picture with the ships is actually from the Nova Corps Fleet see picture here: http://images1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20120423135716/marveldatabase/images/2/2b/The_Nova_Corps_mobilize_.jpg

I know from the comics that the nova corps fleet would be destroyed entirely and the only person from that corps is Richard Ryder (known as nova). Hope that Nova will be in the Guardians movie :D

  5. James says:

Goddamn, that last GotG image has me excited.
